Apps:
Radarscope - This is available for both iOS and Android and is one of the best radar programs I've used.
RadarOmega - This is another really nice mobile radar for iOS and Android. It offers a lot, including a lightning strike tracker.
NOAA Weather Radio (Android version) - This app is for iOS/Android and has a true weather radio stream. It also gives weather alerts, although I've noticed them to be delayed so don't rely on it for severe notifications. It also has a lot of other nice features as well.
p eWeather HD - I don't care much for the radar on this app but it's still a nice iOS/Android app for hourly and daily weather forecasts. I also like that it gives geomagnetic activity for northern lights as well as a bunch of other things. The app does give weather alert notifications but I find them to be delayed.
Storm Radar (Android Version) - This free app is for iOS/Android and will alert you to precipitation and lightning strikes close to your location. It also has alerts from NWS. The radar shows storm tracks with times of arrival and storm motion/speed. The map can also be customized with watches and warnings along with weather station data, fronts, and several other features.
WunderStation - This free app is for iOS and has many local weather stations that will give you weather data close to your location.
AccuWeather - This free app is for iOS/Android. It's a basic weather app but has the fastest weather alerts than any other app I've tested. It's even alerted me before the weather radio.
Storm Shield - This free app is for iOS/Android and gives customizable weather alerts.
Sky Guide | Star Walk - These two apps are my favorite for stargazing in real time. They also give alerts for astronomical events, ISS flyovers, and Iridium satellite flares.
